When you save a story, its identifier is stored in your browser’s local storage under devicesift-saved. The reading list is not sent to us and does not sync across devices. You can remove individual stories, clear the reading list, or clear your browser’s site data.
Search runs on this page.
Search filters the article information already loaded in the page. If you open or share a search URL, it can contain your search terms in the q query parameter. Like other URLs, it may appear in browser history or hosting access logs.
Hosting still handles requests.
The hosting provider processes standard request information needed to deliver the site, which can include an IP address, requested URL, and browser details. If you deploy through Cloudflare, its applicable privacy terms and your own hosting settings govern that processing.
External links have their own policies.
Official product sources open on external websites. Those websites have their own privacy practices. Fonts, styles, scripts, and images used by this site are served locally with the site itself.
